"Recipes"

well its our four day here in cuba and we have talk to the locals here . they were kind enough to let me some of there recipes. heres one of them and my favorite .

" Common Dishes"

 this what they call a cuban dish cuban sandwitch. it has ham, cheese, toasted bread, and secret sause.there are many more dishes like this but this was our favorite.

common holiday dishes

This is a common holiday dessert in cuba. it has mango on top and make with like a custard. we both really injoy this dish it was fruity with a crisp

Cuba's location/climate.

 Cuba is a chain of islands in the carribean sea. The coordinates are 21°3N,80°00W. Cuba's climate is mild subtropical.It is mostly hot and sunny year round, with the exception of hurricanae season which bring alot of rain, and winds along the whole island.

Tasting Cuban food for the first time!

To be honest we were not completely unsure of what we were eating. The dish that we ate at dinner was called "Arroz con Camaron" (shrimp with rice). The flavor was kind of more to the shrimp taste instead of tasting like other spices. Also with the shrimp came a small container of soem type os spicy salsa dip for the shrimp.

The green one tasted somewhat of guacamole, and the red one was really spicy. It was so spicy that my friend john had to get more than 3 glasses of water. I guess hes not used to spicy foods.

Going out for food!

later on that day we went to this restaraunt called "La Casonona". the food was kind of proper aside from the plates. the plates had a if anymall portion of food and if the dish had sauce or watever, they would wipe it off so the dish will look "Five Stars."

Getting off the plane!

We got off the plane after three and a half hours. We got off the plane and the view was great. There were mountains and the the grass was a pale green. There were tall palm trees that had coconuts. It felt like we were in one of those carribean movies. We walked inside the airport and they spoke spanish. my friend john didnt know what they were talking about but i knew wat they were saying because i speak their language.
